These two tracks clearly point the way past the surf/car sound to what we now call Sunshine Pop. Not that Jan & Dean were leaders in the genre, but the genre evolved partly from the vocal harmony sound that this duo and the Beach Boys popularized in the early 1960's. The A side is an irresistible slice of Jan & Dean at their rocking best, covering a Sloan-Barri tune. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Liberty Records factory sleeve. It has pristine Mint sound. Condition Detail:Label: M- | Vinyl: M- | Audio: MWritten by: P.F. Sloan-S. Barri (A), D. Altfeld-J.
