From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy. The B side is a live version of the Prince tune that Sinead O'Connor hit with in 1990, featuring vocals by Rosie Gaines. The A side is an irresistable hard-rock-funk track that would've been a big hit during Prince's peak years a decade earlier. I noticed that in iTunes I put this one in the Hard Rock/Metal category... and it definitely fits there, too! This single coincided with the release of a huge 3-CD Prince compilation set, and neither track was included on any other Prince album. Unless you have the money to spend on the huge Prince compilation, I'd say you're better off buying the 45, especially if you already have all of Prince's LPs and 45s, which the compilation set comprises.
