I Feel Love/ Can't We Just Sit Down (And Talk It Over) by Donna Summer

 mp3 availablePlay mp3: Side A | Side B
Label: Casablanca 884 Year: 1977
Factory sleeve included
Condition: M $20.00
I Feel Love/ Can't We Just Sit Down (And Talk It Over)Listening to this, it's easy to see how Summer became the queen of disco in the late 1970s, helped enormously by great material and by Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte's distinctive techno arrangements. By the way, this is the relatively rare first pressing of Casablanca 884, which labels "I Feel Love" as the B side. And it's true! Originally, the record company plugged "Can't We Just..." as the A side, and it did chart for a few weeks on the Black/RnB Singles chart. Soon, however, station programmers began plugging "I Feel Love," and it became one of Summer's earliest Top 10 hits. Casablanca shortly re-pressed the single showing "Side A" for "I Feel Love." The A side ("Can't We...") is edited from a 4:25 album track. Note: This beautiful 45 record has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl (styrene), Audio).
