Charles' first great dabblings of mixing country music with RnB. His mixture couldn't quite be described as rockabilly, though. :-_ Note that Dave Marsh includes the B side at #295 in his list of the 1001 greatest singles ever made. Speaking of which, this was a non-album single whose sides are missing from contemporary Ray Charles LPs. Note: This copy comes in a vintage Atlantic Records factory sleeve. It has Near Mint labels, reflecting some light wear on the A side (see scan). The vinyl grades a strong EX, reflecting some scattered light wear. The A side audio is Near Mint, with a little surface noise audible during the intro; the B side is a strong EX, as the low sound level makes more surface noise audible. The overall grade is based on the A side audio. Condition Detail:Label: M- | Vinyl: EX+ | Audio: M-Written by: Hank Snow (A), Ray Charles (B)Produced by: A. Ertegun-J.
