 Here's a gorgeous Mint copy of the first pressing with the 'globes' Tamla logo. For some reason, both Rolling Stone magazine and Dave Marsh leave this stellar performance out of their respective "best 45s" lists, but don't think for a moment that you can have a complete Marvin Gaye collection without it — the music somehow brings to life the pure joy the lyrics express. On the flip, Gaye cover another beautiful H-D-H love song... one The Marvelettes had also recorded earlier. That song deserves two stars all by itself! Collector Nerd Alert: This is the rare first pressing that doesn't use parentheses in the song title. Motown quickly added those, for the title "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)", which is seen on most subsequent pressings. Note: This beautiful stock copy comes in a vintage Hitsville U.S.A. factory sleeve. It has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio): Truly the best specimen I've ever offered on the site since opening in 2001!
