 This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the  collection, in its original Vee-Jay Records factory sleeve (is torn on one side). This is one of the best — and most collectable — singles Little Richard released on Vee-Jay in the mid-1960s. There's nothing on the promo labels to indicate which was the A side (the matrix numbers are non-sequential and therefore irrelevant), so I'm calling it as I see it: "It Ain't Whatcha Do" is pure gold, with a funky rhythm section that just won't quit and some Richard vocals for the ages! "Cross Over" is also good, just not as special IMHO. (I'm also following the lead of John Manship and some other sources in pegging "It Ain't..." as the A side.) Note: The labels grade Near Mint, with just a hint of storage wear. The vinyl (styrene?) looks new but has a faint warp that's just barely worth noting. In true Louise Neal unplayed 45s fashion, once cleaned, the audio is flawless on both sides!
