(C45s)Grits Ain't Groceries (All Around The World)/ I Can't Quit You Baby by Little Milton

Label: Checker 1212 Year: 1969
Factory sleeve included
Condition: M- $32.00
Grits Ain't Groceries (All Around The World)/ I Can't Quit You BabyThis is a new, unplayed promo copy from the Louise Neal collection, in its original Chess/Checker/Cadet factory sleeve. Your collection of Little Milton just can't be complete without this one — an unforgettable Funky Soul workout that powerfully transforms Little Willie John's very first hit ("All Around The World", back in 1955). Note: After two deep cleanings (additional cleanings do improve the surface of stock known to have been previously unplayed), the audio comes out Near Mint, reflecting very light but persistent background hiss that I believe to be an inherent quality of the vinyl on these pressings. The hiss is only audible in the very quietest moments. In addition, the A side audio has a very slight "wow" as a result of a slight mis-pressing; it's subtle enough that most listeners probably won't notice (I base that on my wife's reaction. :-) The labels are pristine Mint, and the vinyl displays only very light visual artifacts from storage.
