Though it was a huge hit for Stevie Wonder, copies of this single in near mint condition are very hard to find... so I'm always glad to be putting one like this in the store! "Superstition" is the tune that launched Wonder's "post-Motown" career, in which he took total creative control over his music. It may not surprise you to learn that "Supersitition" is also the biggest hit of his entire -- very long -- career! After this single was a hit, Wonder was rarely out of the Top 10 for the rest of the decade and well into the next. This 45 release, by the way, has a specially edited version of the 4:26 album cut, so this is the version that was a hit on the radio, not the album cut! Note: This beautiful copy, which has black label type instead of brown, has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
