It wasn't until the third single from his second Hi album, "Tired of Being Alone," that Al Green would become a household name. But Dave Marsh is right to celebrate this, the first single from that album, in his list of the 1,001 greatest singles of Rock'n'Soul. Besides the awesome rendition of the Temptations hit on the A side, it has a terrific non-album B side. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Hi Records factory sleeve. It has Near Mint labels with a bit of ringwear, and the vinyl (styrene) looks Near Mint as well, with just a scuff or two to note. The audio is undistorted and grades close to Mint.
