Interesting factoid: Dylan had four top 10 singles, two of which peaked at #2, and two of which peaked at #7. Significance? None that I know of, just a peculiar circumstance. :-) By the way, the two #2 hits were this one and his biggest and best, "Like A Rolling Stone." The two #7 hits were "Positively 4th Street" and "Lay Lady Lay." Both of the tracks on this single were a preview of (and eventually included on) Dylan's classic two-LP set, Blonde On Blonde. They are edited versions of what became the album versions: "Rainy Day Women" is 2:26 vs. 4:36; "Pledging My Time" is 2:06 vs. 3:50! Note: This beautiful copy, perhaps the nicest I've ever offered in the store, comes in a vintage Columbia Records factory sleeve. The labels and vinyl (styrene) grade Near Mint to reflect just a whisper of storage wear. I am very pleased to say that the audio is flawless on both sides 茂驴陆 pristine Mint!
