Here's a rarely seen, beautiful Near Mint copy of The Who's first chart single. However, I really "Can't Explain" the fact that this pressing is missing the usual "I" at the beginning of the title. There's no evidence of tampering on the label that I can see, but I can find no reference to such a pressing in the time I've allotted for searching my usual sources. I can only conclude that this is a very rare release that showed the song's title as "Can't Explain." By the way, this was a previously unreleased, non-album single that didn't appear on any of the band's contemporary LPs. Note: This copy comes in a vintage Decca Records factory sleeve. The A side label has very light ringwear, though the B side is almost flawless. The vinyl grades Near Mint to reflect some very light, unobtrusive scuffing. I am really lucking out with this collection this week — Yes, indeed, this copy's A side audio is pristine Mint! (The B side isn't flawless, but it's close enough.)
