(C45s)All the Way from Memphis by Mott The Hoople

Label: Columbia 45920 Year: 1973
Factory sleeve included
Condition: M- $10.00
All the Way from MemphisStereo/Mono promo copy. This uniquely Mott tribute to Memphis-style Rockabilly (in particular, Jerry Lee) was a top 10 hit in the group's native U.K., but oddly enough it flopped in the country whose music is being saluted. No matter... Just enjoy the sheer intensity and pop purity underlying the sound. By the way, this single has a specially edited version of a longer (4:55) album track. Note: This copy comes in a vintage Columbia Records factory sleeve. It grades Near Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl (styrene), Audio). There is a date stamped lightly on one of the labels. (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)
