 From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original picture sleeve. This very short, essential early-1980s Garage rock by women, which for lack of a better term I'm tagging as "Girl Group" rock, though the typical 1960s Girl Group didn't play instruments or even write their own songs. Still, their sound is so 1960s-retro -- a cleaned-up B-52s meets the Beatles -- the label seems to fit, in a good way. :-) Both of these tunes are from the group's debut album, "Beauty and the Beat."
