From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy with a drillhole, in its original Uni Records factory sleeve. This is one of Diamond's most ambitious and least accessible songs, which probably explains why it didn't do better on the charts. Still, I know Diamond still remembers "Soolaimon" fondly, because it remains part of his live repertoire. It's edited from the 19:20 "African Trilogy" suite on Diamond's "Tap Root Manuscript" album. Note: This beautiful copy has light storage wear but after a cleaning turns up pristine Mint sound. Condition Detail:Label: M- (dh) | Vinyl: M- | Audio: MWritten by: N.
