(C45s)Over The Mountain; Across The Sea/ My Baby's Gone, On, On by Johnnie & Joe

Label: Chess 1654 Year: 1957
Condition: M- $27.00
Over The Mountain; Across The Sea/ My Baby's Gone, On, OnThis is the first Chess pressing of this classic, on the "silver top" label with chess pieces. It was earlier released on J&S 1654. By the way, as a point of trivia, I can't think of any other single in the rock era that has a semicolon in its title. This non-album single also has a great B side. (Johnnie & Joe had no albums.) Note: This beautiful copy has Near Mint labels with a light touch of ringwear (see scan). The vinyl grades Near Mint as well, as does the audio. The A side audio has light surface noise that's mostly inaudible.
