#187 (Marsh 1001)
Let's Go Crazy/ Erotic City by Prince

Label: WB 29216 Year: 1984
Picture sleeve included: M-
Condition: M- $12.00
Let's Go Crazy/ Erotic CityHere's a beautiful copy of this essential Prince single, in an equally beautiful copy of its original picture sleeve! Note that "Let's Go Crazy" ranks all the way up at #187 on Dave Marsh's list of the 1,001 greatest singles ever. Like many Prince singles, the 45 release, at 3:46, is a specially edited version of the LP cut (4:39). Also typical for Prince 45s, this one has a superb non-LP track on the B side — believe me, it's no throwaway, yet this prolific, brilliant artist treated it that way. "Erotic City" is a destination worth visiting on its own! Note: This copy grades Near Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio). Note that the A side grades Near Mint overall for audio, its notable flaw being a touch of light surface noise on the A side, which is mostly inaudible except during the brief intro. The A side audio is clear and undistorted. The B side audio is very nearly Mint, held back from Mint by a handful of spots of faint surface noise. The Near Mint picture sleeve is gorgeous but has a little top-edge wear.
