#278 (Northern Soul 500)
Last Minute Miracle/ No Doubt About It by The Shirelles

 mp3 availablePlay mp3: Side A | Side B
Label: Scepter 12198 Year: 1967
Factory sleeve included
Condition: M- $80.00
Last Minute Miracle/ No Doubt About ItThis is a new, unplayed promo copy from the Louise Neal collection, in its original Scepter Records factory sleeve. This was the seminal Girl Group's last chart single, and they really ended with a bang! Far from their Girl Group roots with songs like "Will You Love Me Tomorrow" and "Soldier Boy", this 45 features top-notch Motown-style Northern Soul dancers on both sides. Kev Roberts thought so much of the A side that he put it at #278 in his list of the Top 500 Northern Soul 45s! However, I'm not so sure I don't prefer the B side... it's a close call! Note: This beautiful promo copy has pristine Mint labels and audio. The vinyl (styrene) also looks brand new, but grades Near Mint to reflect a gentle warp that has no effect on playback or audio.
