Bitter Green/ Forty DaysTerrific cover of an early Gordon Lightfoot tune, backed by an inspired remake of his early Chuck Berry cover hit. This is the first pressing of these tunes, later covered on Cotillion. In 1970, Hawkins was enjoying a minor comeback in the light of the Band's success. (Hawkins formed the group that evolved into the Band in Canada in the late 1950's.)
